Guy oversees Urethane Innovators’ quality program, including all processes and day-to-day operations. He’s also responsible for helping UI achieve its ISO 9001:2015 certification.
Before starting his position at UI in 2015, Guy was a Senior Consultant, Logistics Analyst with Booz Allen where he mapped multiple logistics processes for organizational understanding and process improvement.
Previous to Booz Allen, Guy served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 20 years, including serving time in Iraq, and culminating in his position as Maintenance Management Officer at Cherry Point, NC. In this position he successfully implemented an aggressive company internal inspection program that resulted in mission capable grade on FSMAO pre-GCSS cutover inspection as well as ensuring seven supported organizations were operating within the 95% operating standard at all times.
Guy holds a Master of Science in Performance Improvement from Grantham University, and a Bachelor of Science in Education, with a major emphasis in Industrial Technical Trade, from Valdosta State University. He’s also a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
As a Marine, he received numerous honors and medals, including the Meritorious Service Medal and the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, which he received twice.
In his off time, Guy is a bishop within his church leadership. He works with young men’s groups in the New Bern area and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.
